Entry fee payment
EUR 160
160€ by bank transfer within 7 days after notification. If no Flymaster live tracking device is owned, the rental fee of 25€ must be transferred directly with the payment. Bank charges are to be covered by the participant. The account details will be announced with the selection notification.
The entry fee includes transport to take off, launch/landing tickets, retrieval (see below for details), FAI fees, task evaluation, lunchpakets (deluxe), meal and drink at a pilot party and WLAN in the HQ. In case of no-show, the entry fee will generally not be refunded. In case of cancellation of the event due to weather conditions, entry fee – 30€ will be refunded, provided that the account details of the recipient are available. The competition is considered to have taken place when at least one task has been flown.

Flying site
The Niedere is a well-known flying area for beginners. The west-east ridge separates the Alpine foothills from the more alpine Bregenzerwald and thus offers varied flight routes.
On the northern Andelsbuch side, long, low-turbulence flights can be made in the Bavarian wind. Thermally interspersed, the flying area offers opportunities for soaring, low-turbulence thermal flying, lowland flying over Egg and Andelsbuch itself and even the first routes can be mastered along the chain without any problems. This offers exciting tactical options for competition pilots, as it is also possible to re-enter from low down and the flatter terrain in front offers pure variety.
On the southern Bezau side, on the other hand, leeward flying is the order of the day from midday onwards as the valley wind picks up. The striking chain offers long protection and strong thermals from the southern flanks. As the Niedere is located on the edge of the Alps, an early start is rarely possible. Nevertheless, several smaller west-east ridges offer thermally reliable cross-country flight options to the south. From the Diedamskopf, the high alpine mountain panorama finally opens up to paragliders. The Hochtannberg Pass offers access to the neighbouring Lechtal valley and the Arlberg in the south. The Große Walsertal can also be reached as far as Bludenz in the direction of Switzerland. The mountains offer a pleasant mix of alpine meadows, forest slopes and rare rocky outcrops. Routes of up to 100 km triangular distance are easily possible within the Bregenzerwald.
Thanks to its sheltered location, the area still offers taskable opportunities even in foehn weather conditions. In stronger westerly or easterly winds, flying in the Niedere quickly becomes uncomfortable. The structure of the terrain means that there are hardly any sheltered areas in these wind directions, as the wind simply follows the chain. In such cases, it often makes more sense to avoid, go to the Diedamskopf.
Accommodation
In Bezau you can find various hotels and vacation apartments. There is no shuttle from the accommodation to the HQ. Public busses are available.On the first day of the competition, a camper van parking space can be requested from the organiser directly at the Bezau cable car valley station for a fee. Unfortunately, camping is generally prohibited there, but we will be granted an exemption. The modern WC facilities at the valley station will be open on all competition days. There is also a small river at the car parking area.
